A Grimmory or Booklore server you can reach from your iPad, and an account on it. The app does not come with books and does not host any.
Enter the server address as you would in a browser, for example https://books.example.net, then your username and password. The app keeps a session on the device and refreshes it automatically; sign out from Settings.
Reading position, highlights and notes are saved on the device first and pushed to your server right away. If you are offline they are queued and sent the next time the app is open with a connection. Highlights made in Arcanum appear in your server's web reader at the same spot, and the other way round.

With your own Anthropic API key under Settings › AI Services, Claude makes the pick and you can tell it your mood.
Under Settings › Bindery, enter your Bindery address and its API key (Bindery's Settings › General › Security). A "+ Request" button then appears on the Library tab. An admin key adds and searches for the book at once; a requester key files a request for an admin to approve.
